The Phobya CPU waterblock is one of the most highly developed CPU waterblocks in the world. It was designed with the principle of achieving the best cooling performance with the least material utilization in mind. For this reason both the baseplate and the middle layer are made from finest copper and are only one millimetre thick. The specially developed Microlayer design allows micro-structures in combination with extremely thin walls and its patent is pending. The Microlayer process resulted in an extreme increase of cooling performance, making the waterblock one of the best in the world and at the same reducing weight to only 91,5 grams.
The Phobya waterblock is Highflow-compatible and is suitable for use with both standard- and high-power pumps.
The waterblock is perfect for Highflow thanks to its flow-optimized structure with 65 injection nozzles. The Micro structure was optimized for Quad-Core CPUs but also shows excellent performance on all other types of CPU cores.
The cover is made from Polymethylmethacrylate which is well-known for it great structural properties. PMMA is weatherproof and will not age, it also is chemically resistant against medium-concentrated acids and bases as well as benzines and oils.
PMMA is also flexible and fracture-resistant. The waterblock is sealed with an O-ring seal which is held in place by the baseplate which itself is held in place by 8 special thread inserts.
An Intel socket 1366 mount is already pre-installed.
Thermal compound, installation material as well as a three-lingual manual in English, French and German is also included.
